CCC is proud to have small groups available for young adults in their 20's and 30's. Several groups meet throughout the week in their host's homes. For more information on getting involved in a young adult small group, contact Pastor Bart Koester.

A Message from Pastor Jerry Young:

Thank you so much for your participation in this small group ministry. It will surely have a tremendous impact on your life. I love you and will be praying for your growth in our Lord Jesus Christ. Below you will find some suggestions as you meet and begin to form bonds in your small group ministry.

 1. Always love each other in His love

 2. Trust each other and honor one another by promising never to use something shared in a negative way.

 3. Give everyone an opportunity to share their thinking and opinions. Try not to dominate discussion. If everyone has an opportunity to share, you will better know each to her and learn form each other.

 4. Covenant to pray, regularly for each other. This is particularly important in light of sharing of poignant personal hurts.

 5. No question is a dumb question. We all have a lot to learn. No one in your group has “arrived.” We are all on this journey together.

 6. You may not agree with everything but you must respect each other and fight the urge to argue your position. Give the Lord and His Holy Spirit time.

 7.  Help each other learn how to find things in His word. You have Bible helps: Concordance, Index, Dictionary, Bible Character Examination, Etc. Use them.

 8. Ask me questions. I don’t know all the answers but I will work with you to discover His truth.

 9. Pray for discernment (His understanding) that you will grow in Him and learn to love His Holy Word.

 10.  Live your Faith – Live what you learn. Apply His wonderful life principles to your living. Jesus says, “Be Doers of the Word – Not hearers only!” (James 1:22)

 God Bless You!
